Brazilian Law

Brazilian law permits write off 100% of the investment in forests as a deductible expense of the IR tax basis and social contribution.

The legal protection is in the law No. 8023, 1990, normative instruction from the IRS (SRF No. 257, 2002) and the regulation of income tax (RIR / 1999).

                    The international audits are carried out for the purpose of certification and Process and Project Verification. The BMV Standard requires verification of reporting the sustainability of credits as well as international audits for distribution and use of financial resources, and finally as third parties in the certification of production protocols.

                    Another important role of Third Parties International is the power to double check check, certifying the credits Sustainability determined by the BMV Methodology Standard, which has reference to the carbon equivalent (CO2 eq), presented at the Brazil Mata Viva Sustainable Development Plan.

                    The TUV Rheiland Brazil, a subsidiary of one of the largest worldwide certification and inspection groups, is beginning ensure the safety and quality of products, services and systems in several areas, through its recognized standard in audits, inspections and certification standard procedures.

                    National Third Parties

                    The national audits are carried out in order to adapt the environmental and economic development processes with the reality of communities in each country receiving the Brazil Mata Viva Standard, adapting the designs to their actual needs and demands.

                    Another important role of the Third National Party is to bring the activities of BMV Program Centers to local public programs and non-governmental initiatives, increasing communication between the agents and maximizing project performance capacity.

                    Another important role of the National Third Party is formed by its responsibility in verifying the environmental compliance of the areas covered with the BMV Program projects. Still fits these institutions the preparation, approval, accreditation and monitoring of the areas business plan submitted in the form of term sheet with the local environmental authorities, such as the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA).

                    ICQBrasil -Institute Certification Quality Brazil

                    Brazil Quality Certification Institute is a non-profit organization, created in 1996 by the Federation System of the State of Goiás Industries (FIEG), in partnership with the Brazilian Chamber of Construction Industry (CBIC), to meet entrepreneurs interested in continuous culture of quality.

                    It is a certification body accredited by INMETRO to work with third-party audits MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND PRODUCTS.

                    Academic Third Parties

                    The scientific audits are required in order to validate or certify agricultural development projects, livestock production projects, project implementation of industrial and post-production, in addition to structuring projects and operation of the Production Core business.

                    One of the first audits by third parties occurs in the scientific / academic model, with validation of the reports made to the survey biomass stocks of native forests that end in their quantification related to the carbon equivalent values, and are converted to UCSVT BMV.

                     

                    FEPAF / UNESP

                    The Foundation for Studies and Agricultural Research and Forestry based in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista "Julio de Mesquita Filho" at Farm Experimental Lageado, and its main objective is to support economic, social and environmental development programs; established with UNESP and other institutions, through its main working tool is the joint.

                    Its main activity is the management of research projects carried out by teams of the FCA teachers and other institutions related to agriculture, agribusiness, industry inputs and agricultural equipment, environmental preservation and recovery.

                    Within Brazil Mata Viva Program, the role of third scientific part to the activities is given by the BMV Program agreement with FEPAF, who through it brings scientists and researchers from UNESP in the development of working methods and the validation of reports of biomass stocks and converting them for Loan Forest.
